SEG operates as Professional Engineers in 12 States including Georgia, Alabama, Colorado, Florida, Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisiana, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee and Texas. Mr. Shields is licensed as Public Adjuster in Georgia, Colorado, and Texas.
Our main headquarters are in Atlanta, GA where we have been providing Engineering Services since 2000. Our Engineering practice focuses on Commercial, Educational, and Multi-Family projects.
SEG has LEED Accredited Civil Engineering staff members that are Leaders in Green Building Technology. We assist Clients with all civil components of LEED certified design.
We have a satellite office in Colorado Springs, CO and our main focus is Forensic Engineering and the analysis of storm-related damages to buildings.

MARTIN D. SHIELDS, MCE, PE, LEED AP-NC
President
Mr. Shields’ expertise includes Civil, Structural, Traffic and Forensic Engineering; ADA Rules and Procedures; Construction Management and Administration; Expert Witness Consultation and Testimony. In addition, Mr. Shields has an extensive knowledge base and understanding of building codes, design concepts, and engineering criteria. He graduated from the University of Florida with a BSCE and MCE in Civil Engineering.
LEE WEBB, PE, CFM
Senior Engineer
Mr. Webb holds a Bachelor of Construction Engineering and Bachelor of Civil Engineering Technology from Southern Polytechnic State University. He has over 10 years of experience with Civil, Traffic, and Site Engineering. Mr. Webb is an expert in hydrology and is a Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM). He heads up the Civil Engineering Department in our Atlanta office.
